We're ba-ack....

Phew. It was wonderful weather... stunning location... great fun..... but hard work too. Poor Boo was ill with a tummy virus that lasted for the whole second half of the holiday. This meant that the three of us stayed indoors and close to the ... umm ... loo (poor thing would DIE if he knew I was blogging about this).

And they're still not really old enough to help me with the major logistical stuff ... like packing the car and putting on bike racks etc... so the effort of coming home has exhausted me.

That, and the fact that I had to spend another 4 hours on the affidavit tonight in order to get it ready for my meeting with the lawyer tomorrow morning.

Oh, and that DH has objected to a complaint that I lodged, and won, with the Child Support Agency. Not even to do with his assessment! He has lodged his complaint with the Social Services Tribunal which means a whole 'nother round of statements, lodgements and hearing dates.

Seems like this morning when I woke to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach was a million years ago.

Gorgeous boys!

Good luck with all the lawyery jiggery-pokery, and we'll come visit when you have a moment to breathe deeply (and inhale some lovely wine?).

I've decided that the upside of me having whooping cough is that we won't need to avoid you any more ;)

Will be thinking about you this week.

I'm glad you had a good holiday (apart from the tummy bug part of course). Glad you're home too, although sorry you had to come home to more DH crap. Good luck with your meeting tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Poor old Boo, he's had a rough run with illness! Oh my gawd Fe, it's like DH doesn't have much else to do with his time but create problems, what a pain. Hope the lawyer stuff goes ok tomorrow.

Well, I'm glad you still managed to have a good time.

I'm sorry you have to return to such stress.

Welcome home and thx for the pics - a lovely reminder of a serene and way too short step off the planet.

But now that we are all clearly back on terra firma good luck with everything. DH has way too much time on his hands and it is well beyond a joke but I am still confident in the universe.

As always thinking of you & happy to help any way I can - J xox

THUD, we're back to school.

And guess what - we've both got kids at two schools this year. PL has moved... (hint: he now wears a tie).

Oh my - a tummy bug is a curse at the best of times - while away it is one step on the other side of hell's gates.

And that is where you can apparently find your ex - good luck with it all.
