I've spent the last 3 days in earth-shattering agony. At first I thought it was a migraine headache..... which kind of made sense after 6 weeks of being on the go ...... but when I heard a POP and felt SEARING pain through my head, I started to think "brain tumour".
Luckily I have the best GP in the world, who, no matter what time of day or night, will talk to me on the telephone. He instantly diagnosed an infected sinus and sent me into a hot shower for 20 minutes ("What about water restrictions?" said I) and onto strong anti-biotics and pain killers.
And, oh thank you God, I am beginning to feel better.

urgh, infected sinuses are the worst.
Thanks M. Yes. I think I have to agree with you.
I still distinctly remember feeling like a bus had hit me and having a lot of upper facial pain when Brad finally wandered in the door after the longest boozy Anzac day out and him thinking he was ever so good at getting home before dark and not understanding why it still wasn't soon enough!!
From memory though the antibiotics did work quite fast.
Oooh..... lucky Brad (that he survived that one!!)! Thanks for the sympathy, armywife. I am feeling better (day 2 of antibiotics) but still a bit hungover from the pain and the meds. xxxx
