When I was (*clearing throat*) over 18 and allowed into Pubs, one of the bands that I would see was the Cockroaches. These were a bunch of local boys with great 1980's flare (excuse the pun!) and HUGELY fun gigs (not just the stage full of eye-candy).
When I had my kids, I simply re-kindled my crush on Anthony and had a legit excuse to watch him wiggle his butt all over again..

Check out those 80s shoes, and the rolled-up short sleeves. Now that was the look of the 80s, rolled-up short sleeves.
I forgot that WAKE UP JEFF was also in the Cockroaches.
Must go back and check out the front row again...

I have very fond memories of going to the 'State Bank Ball' in 1991 with my blond permed hair and my black velvet strapless dress (not to mention having to hitch it up all night) and having a fantastic time dancing along to the Cockroaches -is the main singer Captain Feathersword by any chance?
