Kahlil Gilbran...

I was looking for a quote from Kahlil Gilbran to put on the card for the Baby Shower that I went to on the weekend, and some of them were just irresistible.

Here:

Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They came through you but not from you and though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

and here:

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.

These ones also seemed very poignant at the moment....

Where is the justice of political power if it... marches upon neighboring lands, killing thousands and pillaging the very hills?

Wisdom ceases to be wisdom when it becomes too proud to weep, too grave to laugh, and too selfish to seek other than itself.

That’s enough for today.

Happy Day Three of NaBloPoMo

He literally has a quote for every occasion, doesn't he?

It's it only Day Three? God, I'm struggling already!

I love those quotes.

Thank you for posting them!

volgens mij is die 30 posts voor jou helemaal niet zo moeilijk, je shrijft volgens mij al bijna elke dag!

LOL Henriette! I know that I would usually have NO problem posting a post a day (and I often post TWO posts a day) but it's something about HAVING to do it!

So I'll use a bit of psychology on myself and get back to my normal posting pattern..

Thanks everyone!

Now Fe, you need a plan. Get out your calendar - write a topic in for everyday. Days that are missing topics: take a photo from your balcony. Easy Peasy.

For example, tomorrow's post could be "Why my friend M is an over-obsessed whiny pain with blogging". Kahlil Gilbran probably even has a matching quote.

:)

LOL M! I'm not at good at choosing "topics". Thanks anyway. I'll certainly think about it when I'm struggling.
